 Jagan Mohan Reddy, who was arrested and currently in Chanchalguda jail in connection with illegal assets case had a major set back today with special appellate authority granting permission to ED for attaching properties worth Rs.122 crores belongs to him. ED also got permission for attaching Rs.51crores and Rs.71crores worth properties that belongs to Emmar properties, which were presently under its custody. The appellate authority has agreed that Jagan Mohan Reddy has violated FEMA regulations while transferring foreign funds into his different organizations as argued by ED. Hence, it gave consent for attaching Rs.122 crore worth properties that belongs to different organizations owned by Jagan Mohan Reddy. The details:
1.Rs.14.5 crores woth fixed deposits of Jagati Publications.
2.13 acres of land belongs to Janani Infra.
3.Rs.3 crore worth fixed deposits and 96 acres of land belongs to Arabindo.
4.Rs.3 crore worth fixed deposits and 35 acres of land belongs to Hetro drugs.
5.34 Villa plots in ‘Boulder Villas’ in Gachchi Bowli in Hyderabad. |
